Manhood Monday are monthly themed workshops on special topics related to men in college.
Real Men, Real Talk: Honest Conversation
You are valued as a student and more importantly, your voice and your life are valued as well. We’ve created a platform and avenue for male students to come together and have real, vital, and honest conversations.
You aren’t obligated to show up and if you do join, there will be no pressure to announce who you are or turn on your cameras. This will be a safe place for males to discuss any and everything.
Male Student Success Summit
The Office of Student Transitions at ECU sponsored the 6th annual Male Student Success Summit on February 21, 2022 at the Pirate Academic Success Center. The Summit theme was M.E.N. – Men Engaged and Networking
The Summit format consisted of representatives from several campus resources offices who provided information to attendees who visited the Summit. Students had a chance to engage with professionals and receive individualized feedback that will assist students with their academic and personal journey.
A review of the literature on males in higher education point to some concern on interest in college, enrollment, and retention of males. The Summit is one strategy at ECU created to address the problem.
2022 Male Success Summit
The League
The League Living Learning Community is designed to support first-year males interested in sports and sports related issues.
