Pirate Engagement Group

The Pirate Engagement Group (PEG) was developed to help establish relationships between students who live off-campus their first year of college and the rest of the ECU community. This learning community will provide opportunities for these students to meet, learn and socialize with one another and other members of Pirate Nation, including upper class students who will help them navigate their way through ECU.

As a member of PEG, students will:
  • Sign up for a Gold Meal Plan from Campus Dining
  • Take a first-year seminar course (COAD 1000) in the fall semester
Benefits of being a part of PEG:
  • You’ll be taking COAD 1000 with other freshmen students. This will help you create a core group of people that you can get to know and connect with here at ECU.
  • The dining plan will allow you to eat at various spots on campus, grab a coffee with a friend – or even a professor!
